Last spring I had recently learned about Blue Man Group, a group of (originally) 3 performance artists who played PVC pipe instruments. I was fascinate by the instruments and decided that I had to copy them. Being that I am a Tuba player, and a generally enamored of low instruments I decided to replicate the instrument they call the Tubulum. I pitched mine to the F three octaves below middle C, approximately 40 Hz. It only has 7 notes; they are F, A, Bb, C, C#, D, and F.
